“Hit and Miss Tour 4” once again proved its variety-show charm. The Vietnam journey, which began with laughter and ended with sweat and tears, reaffirmed why the program continues to thrive as a long-running favorite.
In the 30th episode of Channel S’s Nidon-naesan Hit and Miss Tour 4, aired on the 20th, Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-gyu continued their journey from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. At the center of the episode was, unsurprisingly, Hong In-gyu — the show’s enduring “Most Hit-and-Miss Player.” Even amid repeated losses, his unwavering persistence in completing each mission stirred unexpected sympathy beyond laughter.
The mood was upbeat from the beginning. On the way to their Ninh Binh lodging, Jang Dong-min joked, “This is a baesan-imsu location — perfect for Jun-ho hyung to receive energy,” while Kim Dae-hee elevated the mood with his bold humor. Jokes about marriage and having a second child reaffirmed the “family-show chemistry” unique to the Hit and Miss crew.
At dinner, the topic turned to “health food.” With goat meat and dragon palace soup on the table, the “wife text game” delivered one of the episode’s biggest laughs. While other members received positive replies from their spouses, only Hong In-gyu got negative messages, securing yet another hit-and-miss loss. His despair over repeated misfortune — and the other members teasing him without missing a beat — perfectly captured the show’s signature comedic rhythm.
The situation didn’t change in the accommodation-fee bet. After a wager worth about 420,000 won, Hong In-gyu once again became the loser, marking his “five-miss” streak. However, in the room-assignment game, Yoo Se-yoon came in last, briefly shifting the momentum. Their spontaneous jokes and reactions added an extra layer of humor.
The next day’s kart racing served as the climax. As the final game to determine the “Most Hit-and-Miss Player,” tension filled the air. Hong In-gyu attempted a covert strategy to block Kim Jun-ho, but Kim broke through with a dramatic overtake, showing the determination of a “new groom.” Ultimately, the penalty returned to Hong In-gyu.
At Hang Mua, the penalty site, Hong In-gyu climbed 486 steps wearing a fur hat, sweatsuit, and sandbags. His final photo at the dragon statue brought both laughter and unexpected emotion. His ability to turn every hardship into humor symbolized the human charm that defines “Hit and Miss Tour 4.”
Hong In-gyu’s remark, “Jun-ho hyung was supposed to get the energy, but I ended up taking all of it,” followed by Kim Jun-ho’s joke, “Is In-gyu going to have a fourth child now?” wrapped up the journey on a warm note.
