ZICO has revealed his meeting with Ikura (Lilas), the vocalist of Japanese duo YOASOBI, raising fresh anticipation for his upcoming new song.
On the 13th, KOZ Entertainment released a video titled “Let’s DUET!”, which documents the production process of ZICO’s new song “DUET,” through its official channels.
The released video captures the two artists discussing the direction of the new track. In particular, ZICO’s description of the song as “a genre where the two can coexist,” accompanied by a bright melody, and Lilas (Ikura) responding, “It’s cool and the best,” offer a glimpse into the musical synergy they are set to present.
The new song “DUET” follows ZICO’s previous collaboration track “EKO EKO” with m-flo, marking another step in his expansive global trajectory. Attention is focused on what kind of distinctive harmony the two artists, each rooted in different musical textures such as hip-hop and band music, will create under the straightforward title “DUET.”
Meanwhile, ZICO’s digital single “DUET” is scheduled for release on the 19th at midnight through major music platforms.
