This photoshoot project holds significant meaning as it is the first collaboration in Rolling Stone's history involving three countries: Korea, the UK, and Japan. Jungkook simultaneously adorned the print covers of Rolling Stone Korea, UK, and Japan. The print editions also feature a pictorial and an interview covering his activities, musical direction, and vision.
Notably, Jungkook is the first Korean solo singer to appear as the cover model for Rolling Stone UK, drawing significant attention. His pictorial was also released as the digital cover for Rolling Stone US, France, India, the Philippines, and China, making him the simultaneous cover star for both print and digital editions in eight total countries, showcasing his global prominence.
In the interview, Jungkook revealed his vision as an artist. He stated, "Now is a time for a new leap. I want to keep evolving by trying new things," adding, "I want to show the various sides of myself. I want to be an artist who creates the flow, not one who is dragged by it, and an artist without limits."
Meanwhile, Jungkook recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams on the music streaming platform Spotify, marking him as the first Korean solo artist to achieve this milestone and confirming his global popularity.
