Singer and musical actress Lisa has begun offering warm year-end comfort to audiences with a bold transformation, performing three roles on her own.
According to R&D Company on the 8th, Lisa successfully completed her first performance of the newly opened musical ‘A Christmas Carol’.
In this piece, which the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Theatre reinterpreted from Charles Dickens’ original work into a modern setting, Lisa plays the ‘Spirit’, a key figure leading the narrative.
In particular, she single-handedly portrays three spirits who travel across the past, present, and future. Through her rich, emotive vocals and delicate emotional expression, she vividly depicts Scrooge’s journey through time, drawing praise from audiences.
Lisa said, “Just as I felt the excitement of waiting for Santa’s gift as a child, I hope this performance becomes a wonderful gift for the audience,” adding, “I wish everyone a meaningful year-end through the time-traveling journey led by the Spirits.”
Meanwhile, the musical ‘A Christmas Carol’ starring Lisa will run until the 28th at the M Theater in the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.
