BTS member Jungkook has once again proven his powerful influence as a global pop star by becoming the first artist to headline Rolling Stone’s three-country joint global project.
According to BIGHIT MUSIC on the 9th, Jungkook has been selected as the first cover artist for Rolling Stone’s collaborative project involving Korea, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
With this selection, Jungkook becomes the first artist ever to simultaneously grace the print covers of all three editions, marking a historic moment for Rolling Stone. In particular, Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to appear as the cover model for Rolling Stone UK.
Additionally, he appears on the digital covers of five more editions — the United States, France, India, the Philippines, and China — becoming the face of media outlets across a total of eight countries and showcasing his powerful brand presence.
In the interview released alongside the covers, Jungkook shared, “Right now is a time for a new leap forward. I want to continue evolving through new attempts and show different sides of myself,” adding, “I want to be an artist who doesn’t follow the flow but creates it, a limitless artist.”
Recently, Jungkook became the first Korean soloist to surpass 10 billion cumulative streams on his personal Spotify account. He continues to break records in the global music market, with his solo single ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ exceeding 2.6 billion streams.
