[News Culture] There has been little sign of a weekday slowdown for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The Marvel blockbuster drew another 401,788 moviegoers on Monday, putting the film within striking distance of the 4 million mark after less than a week in theaters.
According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), the film has now spent six consecutive days atop the Korean box office, lifting its cumulative admissions to 3,785,914.
Its momentum continues to outpace every major release of the year. Brand New Day became 2026's fastest film to reach 1 million, 2 million and 3 million admissions, hitting the latest milestone two days earlier than Exhuma.
The latest chapter finds Peter Parker navigating life after Spider-Man: No Way Home, where no one remembers who he is. As an adversary who still knows his secret emerges, Peter must confront a new threat while struggling to control dangerous powers triggered by a DNA mutation.
Na Hong-jin's Hope remained in second place with 63,928 admissions, bringing its cumulative total to 4,174,475.
Minions & Monsters held third with 12,454 admissions and has now sold 726,394 tickets.
Toy Story 5 climbed back to fourth, adding 7,454 admissions to reach 2,919,664 overall.
Moana rounded out the top five with 6,986 admissions. The Disney adventure officially crossed the 1 million mark, bringing its cumulative total to 1,006,933.
