[News Culture] Spooky in Love is setting up another shift in the relationship between its two leads as it heads into Episode 3.
Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin) and Ma Kang-wook (Yang Se-jong) find themselves drawn further into each other’s orbit as they pursue a new lead together. After falling from a cliff and discovering a body in the sea in the previous episode, the pair are once again at the center of the mystery.
New stills show Yeo-ri wrapped in a blanket, still soaked from the ordeal, as recovery efforts continue around her. Her attention is fixed on a phone believed to have belonged to the victim, suggesting that something left on the device could provide the next crucial clue.
Kang-wook, meanwhile, shows a noticeably softer side. Even as he stays focused on the investigation, he keeps an eye on Yeo-ri and brings her a warm drink. The gesture follows an earlier moment when he covered her eyes to shield her from a disturbing sight, adding another layer of quiet tenderness to their growing connection.
Yeo-ri must unravel the stories of the ghosts she encounters, while Kang-wook refuses to let go of a case until he has followed every lead. Their contrasting approaches are beginning to work in tandem—and as the investigation deepens, so does the connection between them.
