South Korea's weekend box office rebounded in force on Saturday, with Moana, The Eyes and Toy Story 5 each drawing more than 100,000 moviegoers as summer releases continued to fuel theater attendance.
According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), Disney's live-action Moana remained No. 1 for a fourth consecutive day after selling 180,130 tickets on July 11. Its cumulative admissions climbed to 346,174.
The live-action remake has quickly established itself as the market leader heading into its first full weekend in release.
The Eyes, starring Shin Min-a, held second place with 111,500 admissions, lifting its cumulative total to 1,181,677.
The suspense thriller has continued its impressive theatrical run following a breakout driven by strong audience recommendations, remaining one of the summer's standout performers.
Toy Story 5 finished third with 103,585 admissions, pushing its cumulative total to 2,481,693 and continuing its durable run nearly four weeks after opening.
Animated feature David held fourth place with 23,132 admissions, bringing its cumulative total to 48,767.
The biblical adventure chronicles the journey of the young shepherd David, from his humble beginnings to his legendary confrontation with Goliath.
Colony rounded out the top five with 15,644 admissions, raising its cumulative total to 5,900,794.
The infection thriller stars Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rok and Ko Soo.
