The rescue operation enters a critical new phase in Episode 6 of SBS's "AGENT KIM" as So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, and Yoon Kyung-ho launch coordinated missions to save Min-ji from enemy territory.
The episode follows Kim Bu-jang (So Ji-sub), Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon), and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyung-ho) as they pursue the same objective through entirely different routes. Their simultaneous operations promise another action-heavy chapter in the crime thriller.
The previous episode ended with Kim Bu-jang discovering evidence that confirmed Min-ji was still alive, only to see hope slip away when she fell back into the hands of Joo Kang-chan (Joo Sang-wook). The devastating setback left the rescue mission more urgent than ever.
Episode 6 showcases each character's distinct strengths. Kim Bu-jang charges directly into enemy territory, relying on sharp instincts and overwhelming combat skills to force his way through increasingly dangerous obstacles.
Seong Han-su undertakes the stealth route, squeezing through a narrow ventilation shaft to infiltrate the compound. Working inside the cramped passage, he presses forward despite the physical limitations, adding another layer of suspense to the operation.
Park Jin-cheol, meanwhile, unlocks a long-hidden weapons cache. Surrounded by an arsenal of firearms, he appears to rediscover the instincts that once defined him, while his trademark humor provides brief moments of relief amid the escalating tension.
Although operating from different locations, the three men remain united by a single objective. Whether their separate missions can converge into a successful rescue—and whether they can outmaneuver Joo Kang-chan's tightening security—forms the central question heading into the episode.
According to the production team, the cast devoted significant attention to the action sequences. So Ji-sub carefully refined choreography and movement for each fight scene, Choi Dae-hoon worked inside the confined ventilation set to heighten the realism of his infiltration, and Yoon Kyung-ho energized the set with his signature wit between takes.
"AGENT KIM" continues its dominant ratings run. Episode 5 drew 20.5 percent nationwide and 21.0 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, according to Nielsen Korea, while peaking at 23.1 percent, further cementing its status as one of this year's biggest television hits.
