The original Korean musical Let Me Fly will return for its third season this fall with an expanded cast led by Ahn Jae-wook and Lee Hee-joon, marking the production's first revival in nearly three years.
Presented by Let Me Fly Co., Ltd. and NHN Link and produced by Pros Lab, the musical will run from Oct. 6, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027, at Doosan Art Center's Yeonkang Hall in Seoul. Following successful domestic and international runs, the production returns with a larger ensemble and renewed creative momentum.
Set in 1969, Let Me Fly follows Namwon, a young man who suddenly awakens as a 70-year-old after an unexplained radio transmission. As he searches for a way back to his own time, he revisits the people he loves and confronts the life he has lived, creating a story that blends fantasy with themes of love, regret and second chances.
Since its premiere, the musical has built a strong reputation for its emotional storytelling. After launching in Seoul in 2023, it toured 10 cities across Korea, expanded overseas with a replica production in Taiwan, and later staged performances by the original Korean company. In 2025, it was featured at the K-Musical Roadshow on Broadway before presenting a successful engagement in Hong Kong at the invitation of the Korean Cultural Center.
The new season combines returning favorites with notable newcomers.
Veteran actor Ahn Jae-wook joins the role of Older Namwon, making his return to the musical stage after roughly three years. Lee Hee-joon also joins the production, marking his first musical appearance since 2012 after establishing a strong screen career in television and film.
Returning cast members include Oh Eui-sik and Kim Ji-hyun, who reunite in the roles of Older Namwon and Sunhee after appearing together during the musical's workshop and original production. Yoon Gong-joo also reprises the role of Sunhee, bringing back one of the performances that helped define earlier seasons.
Fan favorites Ahn Ji-hwan and Na Ha-na, who have been with the musical from its development period through domestic tours and overseas performances, return as Young Namwon and Jeongbun. Lee Hyung-hoon and Hong Ji-hee also rejoin the production, continuing their long association with the musical.
New cast members further broaden the lineup. Bae Hae-sun joins as Sunhee, returning to the musical stage with a role expected to highlight her nuanced emotional performance. Yoon So-ho, Yoon Jae-ho, Lee Soo-bin and Park Seul-gi have also been cast as Young Namwon and Jeongbun, with Yoon Jae-ho, Lee Soo-bin and Park Seul-gi joining after being selected through an open audition.
Blending returning performers with fresh faces, Let Me Fly aims to deliver a richer interpretation of its story about love, memory and the passage of time. The third season is expected to be one of the standout Korean musical productions of the 2026 fall season.
