Warner Bros. has released a new teaser poster and second trailer for "Dune: Part Three," offering a closer look at the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's epic sci-fi saga.
The film follows Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) after inheriting absolute power, as his reign leads to a conflict that will determine the future of the known universe. The third installment brings the trilogy to a close this December.
The newly released poster features Paul and Chani (Zendaya) facing one another across the deserts of Arrakis, hinting at the growing divide between the former allies as Paul assumes the role of emperor while Chani stands in opposition.
The latest trailer jumps ahead 17 years after Paul's rise to power, revealing an empire shaped by his rule and introducing Skytale (Robert Pattinson), a new adversary whose arrival sets the stage for another major conflict. The preview also highlights Paul's increasingly strained relationship with Chani as political and personal tensions converge.
The footage closes with Paul confronting the consequences of his decisions, teasing the emotional stakes behind the trilogy's conclusion.
Ahead of the trailer launch, Warner Bros. hosted an IMAX Global Fan First Event in Los Angeles on July 8, bringing together international media and fans. Director Denis Villeneuve appeared for a conversation about the film, while Chalamet made a surprise appearance to thank audiences for supporting the franchise throughout its run.
Speaking at the event, Chalamet said the new installment was designed to take the series in a fresh direction rather than simply repeat what came before, expressing confidence that the finale would offer audiences a distinctly different experience.
