LE SSERAFIM has unveiled a new cross-market collaboration, teaming with Indian singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa for a remix of “BOOMPALA,” the title track from the group's second full-length album.
On July 4, Source Music released the official remix film through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, introducing a new version of the song featuring Guru Randhawa. The project arrives roughly two months after the original release and marks LE SSERAFIM's latest international collaboration.
The video combines footage filmed separately in the United States and India, cutting between LE SSERAFIM and Guru Randhawa to create a unified performance despite the artists being continents apart.
Rather than reinventing the track, the remix builds on the original's foundation. "BOOMPALA," which blends a sample of "Macarena" with Eastern and Western musical influences, is reimagined through rhythmic elements associated with Indian pop and Guru Randhawa's signature vocal style. Fast-paced editing and colorful graphic treatments further reinforce the song's upbeat energy.
The collaboration also highlights LE SSERAFIM's growing versatility as a global act. In recent months, the group has expanded beyond traditional K-pop partnerships through projects with ILLIT and KATSEYE on "ICONIC BY MISTAKE," as well as crossover collaborations tied to the film Supergirl and the video game Overwatch 2. The latest remix continues that strategy, demonstrating the group's ability to adapt to different musical and cultural contexts while maintaining its own identity.
From HYBE's perspective, the project also reflects the company's accelerating ambitions in India. After establishing an Indian subsidiary last September and announcing plans for local auditions earlier this year, HYBE has been laying the groundwork for a long-term presence in one of the world's fastest-growing music markets. Partnering one of its flagship K-pop acts with a major Indian artist offers another step toward building stronger connections with local audiences.
LE SSERAFIM will launch its second world tour, "2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'PUREFLOW'," with concerts at Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 11 and 12 before heading to Japan, the United States, Europe and additional cities across Asia for a 32-show global run.
