Toy Story 5 tightened its grip on the South Korean box office over the weekend, surpassing 1.6 million admissions after another commanding three-day performance.
According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), the Disney-Pixar sequel drew 201,951 moviegoers on June 28 to remain No. 1 for a 12th consecutive day. Its cumulative admissions climbed to 1,617,334.
The animated feature generated 502,934 admissions across the June 26–28 weekend, reinforcing its status as the clear market leader heading into a new week.
Mystery thriller The Eyes, starring Shin Min-a, held onto second place with 88,927 admissions on Sunday. Buoyed by positive audience word of mouth, the film has now reached 305,232 cumulative admissions.
Colony remained third with 33,363 admissions, lifting its cumulative total to 5,714,022.
The infection thriller stars Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rok and Ko Soo.
Comedy Wild Sing finished fourth after adding 23,281 admissions, raising its cumulative total to 1,234,075.
Supergirl rounded out the top five with 19,591 admissions, bringing its cumulative admissions to 111,848.
