EVAN has made an immediate impact as a solo artist.
According to BELIFT LAB on June 25, the music video for EVAN’s debut solo single “Ride or Die” surpassed 10 million views just 44 hours after its release, reaching the milestone on the afternoon of June 24.
The achievement reflects growing global interest in the artist’s first independent chapter outside the larger narrative framework associated with ENHYPEN.
At the center of the music video is a visual story built around symbolism and emotional tension. Images of a damaged automobile serve as a metaphor for a wounded past self, while EVAN’s rain-soaked performance sequences emphasize the resilience and determination that have shaped his evolution as an individual artist.
Combined with the song’s alternative rock-driven sound, those visual elements present a sharper, more introspective side of EVAN, translating years of accumulated emotion into a striking audiovisual statement.
Audience engagement has quickly translated into measurable chart success.
The music video reached No. 9 on YouTube’s Global Daily Trending chart while also ranking No. 1 in Singapore, No. 6 in the United Kingdom and No. 10 in the United States on regional trending rankings. The song has also posted strong domestic results, topping Bugs’ real-time chart and reaching No. 5 on Melon’s Hot 100.
The early performance suggests that EVAN’s solo identity is resonating with listeners beyond ENHYPEN’s established fan base, positioning the artist as a compelling new force in the global pop landscape.
EVAN is set to continue promotional activities with a performance on Mnet’s M Countdown. He will also meet fans through the busking event “The Fillin’ Live with EVAN” on June 26 at Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul.
