tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama See You at Work Tomorrow! is set to make its debut on June 22, offering a relatable blend of workplace realities and romance for viewers navigating the routines of everyday office life.
The series follows Cha Ji-yoon, a seventh-year office employee struggling with career burnout, whose life begins to change after crossing paths with her sharp-tongued supervisor Kang Si-woo. As the two gradually become indispensable to one another, the drama explores both professional growth and unexpected romance.
One of the show's biggest appeals lies in its realistic portrayal of modern working life. From endless workloads and complicated workplace relationships to the emotional fatigue of repetitive routines, Cha Ji-yoon's journey reflects the experiences of many office workers. Against that backdrop, the growing connection between Ji-yoon and Si-woo adds a layer of warmth and emotional anticipation.
Director Jo Eun-sol described the drama during the production presentation as "a story about love," adding that it portrays modern relationships in a bold, honest and mature way. She emphasized that the show's strengths lie in its detailed storytelling and emotional relatability, expressing hope that viewers would come away wanting to fall in love themselves.
Another major draw is the first on-screen pairing of Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun. Seo plays Kang Si-woo, a cold and demanding supervisor known as the "3NO Man"—someone who rarely smiles, avoids people and seldom apologizes. Beneath his tough exterior, however, lies a more human side waiting to be revealed.
Park takes on the role of Cha Ji-yoon, whose burnout and career stagnation make her one of the drama’s most relatable characters. Together, the two actors chart the gradual evolution of a workplace relationship that begins with professional distance before developing into something deeper.
Beyond the central romance, the drama introduces a variety of interconnected relationships. Kang Mi-na plays energetic fifth-year employee Yoon No-ah, while Choi Kyung-hoon appears as Jo Ga-eul, Ji-yoon’s first love and an aspiring singer. Won Gyu-bin joins the cast as Lee Jae-in, a younger man who pursues No-ah with unwavering confidence.
As romantic tensions, friendships and personal growth stories intertwine, See You at Work Tomorrow! aims to deliver both emotional resonance and lighthearted entertainment for audiences looking for a refreshing workplace romance.
