Tension is building around Code Name 66, and at the center of it stands So Ji-sub.
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "AGENT KIM", set to premiere on June 26, follows an ordinary father who becomes the most dangerous man in the world to rescue his only daughter. Combining hard-hitting action with mystery-driven storytelling, the series promises an intense battle fought in the name of family.
Ahead of its premiere, SBS unveiled the drama's main poster, showcasing an ensemble cast led by So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Joo Sang-wook, Son Na-eun, Kim Sung-kyu, Lee Jae-yong, Won Hyun-jun, Park Jin-woo, Jo Bok-rae, Lee Dong-ha, Seo Su-min and Yoo Ji-an. The image hints at the arrival of what the network describes as a powerful "dad universe."
At the center stands Kim Bu-jang (So Ji-sub). Upon seeing his daughter Min-ji (Seo Su-min) in danger, he sheds his image as an ordinary father and transforms into a cold, determined fighter, gripping a gun as he prepares for battle. Nearby, Sung Han-soo (Choi Dae-hoon) raises a firearm, while Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyung-ho) charges forward barehanded, foreshadowing a fierce clash fueled by desperation and sacrifice.
Joo Kang-chan (Joo Sang-wook) exudes a dark and ominous presence around Kim Bu-jang, while Sang-a (Son Na-eun), bearing visible wounds, hints at an unexpected action transformation.
The poster also introduces several mysterious figures connected to Kim Bu-jang's hidden identity as a special operative known as Code Name 66. They include covert North Korean operative Kang Sung (Kim Sung-kyu), operative instructor Ri Eung-ryeong (Lee Jae-yong), Special Mission Bureau director Ddanggangaji (Won Hyun-jun), neighborhood laundromat owner Mr. Lim (Park Jin-woo), fixer and contractor Geum I-ppal (Jo Bok-rae), chief secretary Nam (Lee Dong-ha), and Joo Hye-ri (Yoo Ji-an), the daughter of Joo Kang-chan. Their secret ties to Kim Bu-jang deepen the mystery surrounding his mission.
Based on the hit Naver webtoon of the same name, "AGENT KIM" brings together writer Nam Dae-jung, known for The Last Ride, 30 Days and First Ride, with director Lee Seung-young, whose previous works include Wonderful World, Tracer and Voice 2. Rising director Lee So-eun also joins the production.
