Director Yeon Sang-ho's Colony continued its dominant box-office run, securing the No. 1 spot for a sixth consecutive day.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing network on May 27, Colony attracted 150,489 moviegoers on May 26, maintaining its position atop the daily box office. Its cumulative admissions now stand at 2,169,099.
The film recently became the fastest release of 2026 to surpass two million admissions, outpacing major hits including The King's Warden, Salmokji, and Project Hail Mary.
Colony follows a group of survivors trapped inside a quarantined building during a mysterious outbreak, where they must confront infected beings that evolve into increasingly unpredictable forms. The film stars Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rok, and Ko Soo.
Michael ranked second with 20,595 admissions, bringing its cumulative audience to 1,205,195.
The film chronicles the rise of Michael Jackson, tracing his extraordinary journey from musical prodigy to the King of Pop through iconic performances and landmark moments in his career.
Third place went to The Devil Wears Prada 2, which drew 5,821 moviegoers and increased its cumulative admissions to 1,564,402.
The sequel reunites Miranda, Andy, and Emily as they navigate a transformed media landscape while battling for influence in the luxury fashion industry.
Fourth place went to Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, which debuted with 3,192 admissions.
Fifth place belonged to Salmokji, which added 2,196 moviegoers and continued its remarkable long-running success at the Korean box office.
Salmokji follows a film crew investigating a mysterious figure captured on a road-view image near a reservoir, only to encounter a terrifying presence lurking beneath the dark waters.
