TREASURE has unveiled the tracklist for its fourth mini album “NEW WAV,” further signaling a return to the group’s core hip-hop identity through a project built entirely around the genre.
On May 25, YG Entertainment released the album’s tracklist poster through its official blog.
According to the newly revealed details, the mini album will feature four new songs: title track “IF I,” alongside “ZOOM ZOOM,” “NALLY-NA,” and “DANGER.”
One of the most notable aspects of the release is its full commitment to hip-hop. The genre-focused tracklist expands on the monochrome visuals and wild swagger previously teased through concept photos, translating the group’s raw and unfiltered image directly into its music.
The album’s hip-hop identity is further reinforced by the members’ active creative involvement. Rap line members Choi Hyun-suk, Yoshi, and Haruto participated extensively in songwriting, including work on “NALLY-NA,” while Junghwan? Wait no, user says Junkyu. Let's correct: Member Junkyu contributed to “ZOOM ZOOM,” continuing to build his profile as a songwriter and producer.
Additional support comes from YG producers including DEE.P, P.K, and Kang Uk-jin, helping shape the album’s sonic direction and the ambitious message behind title track “IF I.”
Having stepped away from the brighter sound of previous releases, TREASURE now returns with a more determined and unapologetically hip-hop-focused approach. Expectations are high for how the group will channel that concentrated energy into its latest comeback.
Meanwhile, TREASURE’s fourth mini album “NEW WAV” is scheduled for release on June 1.
