K-pop group TWS, already known for its million-seller success in Korea, is now rapidly expanding its influence across Japan and beyond. The group's fifth mini album "NO TRAGEDY" has delivered another major milestone, reinforcing its growing status as one of K-pop's rising global acts.

According to chart data cited by PLEDIS Entertainment on May 14, TWS members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin simultaneously claimed the top positions on both Oricon and Billboard Japan, two of the country's most prominent music charts.

On Oricon's latest weekly chart dated May 18, "NO TRAGEDY" captured both the Weekly Combined Album Ranking and Weekly Album Ranking, earning a double crown. The album accumulated 220,956 points, easily surpassing the previous record set by fourth mini album "play hard," which recorded 139,662 points. The jump highlighted the rapid growth and purchasing power of TWS's expanding fanbase.

Momentum continued on Billboard Japan as well. Released on May 13, the chart placed "NO TRAGEDY" at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales ranking with approximately 230,000 first-week sales. The album also maintained strong visibility across streaming platforms, reaching top positions in K-pop album categories on iTunes and Apple Music Japan while appearing on Spotify Japan's Rising Chart for three consecutive days.

The latest achievements follow a series of notable milestones, including No. 1 on Hanteo's weekly album chart with first-week sales of 1,112,770 copies and a No. 21 ranking on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart. Together, the results further strengthen TWS's reputation as a fast-rising global youth-pop act.

TWS will launch its "2026 TWS TOUR 24/7:FOR:YOU" on June 27–28 at KSPO DOME in Seoul before continuing across eight cities worldwide, including Fukuoka, Hyogo, Macau, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kaohsiung, for a total of 15 performances.
