The cast of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' recently opened up about Gaga’s surprise appearance and her involvement in the film’s soundtrack, revealing just how difficult it was to keep the secret under wraps during production.
Meryl Streep admitted, “I wanted to tell everyone immediately that Lady Gaga was in the movie, but I couldn’t. It was really hard.” She added with a laugh that Gaga’s participation had become “a huge secret” shared only among the cast and crew.

Explaining the inspiration behind the songs, Gaga described “Shape of a Woman” as a track inspired by “the inner worlds of fashion designers across the globe.” She added that “Glamorous Life” was shaped by the emotional conflict experienced by protagonist Andy, as well as Miranda’s duality as “both a hero and a villain.”
“Runway,” which featured prominently in the film’s main trailer, has already drawn explosive reactions online. Driven by stylish beats and lyrics reflecting the glamour and ruthless competition of the fashion industry, the song amplifies the feeling of stepping directly into a high-profile runway show. The music video has approached 14 million global views, once again demonstrating Gaga’s immense cultural reach.
