BTS continues to assert its global dominance, maintaining a powerful long-run presence across major U.S. and international charts with its fifth full-length album “ARIRANG.”
On April 29, BigHit Music cited Billboard (dated May 2) and other global chart indicators, confirming that both the album “ARIRANG” and its title track “SWIM” are sustaining strong performance more than a month after release.
“SWIM” ranked No.2 on Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) and No.3 on the Global 200, marking five consecutive weeks in the Top 3, while continuing its steady run at No.22 on the Hot 100. Notably, all 13 tracks from the album remain charting globally, signaling deep listener penetration across markets.
The sustained streaming traction has translated into continued album consumption. “ARIRANG” has held a Top 5 position (No.4) on the Billboard 200 for five consecutive weeks, while also reclaiming No.1 on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Digital Album chart and earning gold certifications from Italy’s FIMI and Spain’s EPDM.
This multi-territory performance underscores BTS’ enduring musical influence, backed by both mass streaming engagement and solid physical and digital sales.
Meanwhile, BTS is set to continue its North American tour with performances in El Paso on May 2–3. Following the success in Tampa, the group has received exceptional local recognition, including official honors from regional authorities, further amplifying the tour’s cultural impact.
