LE SSERAFIM has unveiled its new lead single “CELEBRATION,” opening a powerful new chapter in its upcoming second full-length album.
On April 24, Source Music announced that the track and music video for “CELEBRATION,” the lead single from LE SSERAFIM’s second album “PUREFLOW pt.1,” would be released at 1 p.m.
The song serves as a defining starting point for the album’s “FEARLESS 2.0” narrative, centered on acknowledging fear and transforming it into inner strength. It celebrates the moment of confronting fear head-on and emerging stronger.
The message is reinforced through a dynamic fusion of melodic techno and hardstyle, layered with lyrics written in part by members Kim Chaewon and Huh Yunjin, adding a personal dimension to the track.
On stage, the song’s energy translates into intense choreography, including synchronized headbanging sequences symbolizing forward momentum despite fear. Sections emphasizing emotional nuance incorporate contemporary dance elements, enhancing the overall visual and emotional immersion.
The group shared, “From the first listen, we imagined everyone enjoying this song together at parties and concerts. It carries our story within an uplifting energy, making it even more meaningful.”
They added, “We focused on delivering the message through expressions and atmosphere alone, so we hope audiences pay attention to the performance. As the title suggests, we want everyone to come together and enjoy it.”
LE SSERAFIM will begin promotions with its first performance on Music Bank, followed by appearances on Show! Music Core and Inkigayo.
