ILLIT member Moka has temporarily suspended activities due to health issues, just ahead of the group’s upcoming comeback and global tour.
On April 21, Belift Lab announced through the group’s official fan community that Moka would not participate in upcoming schedules and would enter a temporary hiatus.
According to the agency, Moka recently experienced health-related concerns and was advised by medical professionals to undergo continuous treatment and sufficient rest. The company stated that it has decided to prioritize creating an environment focused on the artist’s recovery.
The decision aligns with Belift Lab’s previous stance on artist protection, notably seen during member Wonhee’s ankle injury in June 2024. Given the timing ahead of a major album release and tour, the group is expected to proceed with a flexible system while prioritizing Moka’s health.
Belift Lab added, “Although the artist has a strong will to continue activities, she will inevitably be unable to participate in scheduled events for the time being as recovery is the top priority. We will carefully review her condition and provide further updates regarding her return.”
Meanwhile, ILLIT is set to release its fourth mini album “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” on April 30, followed by the start of its global tour.
