Lee Joo-young, who gained breakout recognition on Netflix’s Single’s Inferno 5, has signed an exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment, marking a decisive shift toward a full-scale entertainment career.
The agency officially announced the signing on April 8, signaling its intent to position Lee as a cross-industry talent spanning broadcasting, fashion, and beauty.
Lee drew widespread attention through "Single’s Inferno 5," where her polished visuals paired with a candid, easygoing personality created a strong contrast that resonated with viewers. Alongside her on-screen appeal, she has also built a parallel career as a craft artist, participating in exhibitions and showcasing a refined artistic sensibility.
Her move to Cube Entertainment represents more than a standard agency contract. It functions as a structural upgrade, transitioning her from short-term buzz to a scalable, long-term brand trajectory. The company, home to acts such as (G)I-DLE and actors including Hwang Shin-hye, Go Joon-hee, and Kwon So-hyun, provides an established infrastructure for that expansion.
Cube Entertainment stated it is pleased to welcome a versatile talent like Lee, adding that it will offer full support for her growth across multiple sectors while allowing her to continue her work as a craft artist.
Lee expressed excitement and gratitude for the new beginning, emphasizing her intention to expand her presence through diverse content while maintaining her identity as a creator. She added that she aims to evolve into an artist active across various fields.
