British electronic-pop duo HONNE revisits a defining chapter of their career with a reimagined single, marking a decade since their debut with a restrained, emotionally resonant update.
On April 3, the duo released ‘Someone That Loves You (feat. Izzy Bizu) (10 Years)’ across global streaming platforms, continuing their 10th anniversary project. The track follows previously unveiled releases including ‘Warm on a Cold Night (10 Years)’ and ‘Location Unknown (feat. NIKI) (10 Years),’ all part of the commemorative compilation album ‘HONNE — 10.’
The new version strips back the original’s lush synth textures in favor of a minimal, acoustic-driven arrangement. The result is a more intimate sonic landscape that foregrounds longing and emotional restraint. Notably, Izzy Bizu returns to the track, reinforcing its legacy while adding renewed emotional depth.
The collaboration carries a reflective tone. Bizu described the song as “a meaningful piece we created when we first met,” while HONNE noted that revisiting the track felt like “meeting our past selves again,” adding that her voice completes the piece in a way that feels newly realized.
As part of the anniversary rollout, HONNE will also embark on a global tour. The duo is set to hold a three-day solo concert titled ‘HONNE TOUR IN SEOUL’ from July 16 to 18 at Lotte Concert Hall, offering a live retrospective of their 10-year musical trajectory.
