The King's Warden continues its commanding run at the box office, firmly holding the top spot.
According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system on March 31, the film drew 60,602 moviegoers on March 30. Its cumulative total now stands at 15,676,534 admissions.
After surpassing 10 million viewers in just 31 days, the film has maintained strong momentum, overtaking Ode to My Father (14.26M) and Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (14.41M) to secure No.3 on the all-time Korean box office chart. With steady hold despite new releases, attention is now turning to whether it can surpass Extreme Job (16.26M) and even challenge The Admiral: Roaring Currents (17.61M).
Set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457, the film follows a village head who willingly chooses exile for the sake of his people and a young deposed king, unfolding a restrained yet powerful historical narrative.
Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, held second place with 42,581 admissions, bringing its cumulative total to 1,193,275. The film follows a scientist who awakens alone aboard a spacecraft with no memory and must complete a final mission to save humanity.
In third place, Detective Conan: The Last Wizard of the Century drew 3,715 viewers, reaching a cumulative 55,647. The film centers on a high-stakes showdown between Conan and Phantom Thief Kid over the Romanov dynasty’s final treasure, the “Memories Egg.”
Upcoming horror release Salmokji ranked fourth with 2,515 preview admissions, totaling 10,418. It follows a filming crew that encounters an unknown entity in a reservoir after a mysterious figure is captured on road-view footage.
Rounding out the top five, the re-release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle recorded 2,209 admissions, bringing its cumulative total to 5,737,799. The film depicts the opening chapter of the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and elite demons inside the Infinity Castle.
