Lee Chaebin has officially launched a new chapter under the stage name IRO, unveiling her debut single "Lazy Sunday" worldwide on March 18. The track was released simultaneously across global streaming platforms, alongside its music video on the official YouTube channel "IRO."
"Lazy Sunday" is a mid-tempo pop track that captures the calm and intimate moments of a day spent with a loved one. From sleeping in without an alarm to the fading traces of winter outside the window and the gentle warmth of early spring indoors, the song paints a sensory portrait of stillness. At its core, it delivers the idea of "perfect harmony," where simply being together is enough to complete the day.
The track was fully produced by Jeo.N, CEO of MunCapsule Entertainment, with contributions from renowned Japanese session musicians including guitarist Suzuki Ren and saxophonist Fujiwara Sho. Their performances add depth and richness to the track, blending seamlessly with IRO’s soft, emotive vocals to create a refined pop sound.
Notably, IRO took part in every stage of the production process, from vocals and songwriting to composition, arrangement, and mixing. Rather than relying on elaborate stage imagery, she focuses on delivering sincerity through her natural voice, reaffirming her identity as a multifaceted singer-songwriter.
With "Lazy Sunday" as her starting point, IRO is expected to continue exploring diverse musical directions and expanding her artistic spectrum.
