On March 10, KOCCA, led by Acting President Yoo Hyun-seok, announced that it had hosted “Concept Korea 2026 F/W” for two days from March 2 to 3 at Palais de Tokyo in Paris in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Concept Korea is a fashion development initiative designed to support promising Korean designer brands in expanding overseas. By aligning with fashion week schedules in major global fashion capitals and providing a runway platform for new collections, the program aims to strengthen the international competitiveness of K-fashion.

Three prominent Korean designer brands participated in the Paris showcase: KIMHĒKIM, RE RHEE, and BONBOM. KIMHĒKIM, which presented a solo show on March 2, received strong reviews for reinterpreting French couture techniques through the brand’s distinctive aesthetic. On March 3, RE RHEE and BONBOM held a joint show, drawing positive responses from industry professionals for their reinterpretation of traditional costume elements and sculptural combinations of contrasting materials.

The presence of a global ambassador also amplified attention around the event. The group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, appointed as the ambassador for this edition of Concept Korea, attended the entire schedule and supported the promotion of K-fashion. Their appearance attracted significant attention from Paris-based media outlets and visitors, creating a positive synergy that expanded public awareness of Korean fashion.

Yoo Hyun-seok, acting president of KOCCA, said the event reaffirmed the creativity and competitiveness of K-fashion on the global stage. He added that the agency will continue providing systematic support so Korean designer brands can further expand their presence in the global market.
