Tension rises in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama Honor: Their Courtroom as the long-standing partnership among three lawyers begins to crack. What once appeared to be a turning point in the case instead signals a deeper fracture within the team.
In the previous episode, Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-chae) moved to help Yoon Ra-young (Lee Na-young), who had been arrested on suspicion of killing prosecutor Park Je-yeol (Seo Hyun-woo). She worked with Baek Tae-joo (Yeon Woo-jin), the designer of the Connect-In application, to secure key evidence related to the case.
The footage revealed Park Je-yeol firing warning shots while assaulting the three lawyers. It also showed Yoon Ra-young attempting CPR to revive him after he collapsed. Once submitted in court, the video strengthened the argument that Yoon’s actions could be recognized as self-defense, placing her on the verge of release.
Yet just as the case appears to move toward resolution, the relationship among the three lawyers begins to unravel.
In a newly released scene ahead of the March 9 broadcast, the three L&J (Listen & Join) attorneys gather at Yoon Ra-young’s home, but the atmosphere is heavy rather than celebratory. Determined expressions fill the room instead of relief.
The preview delivers a shocking moment when Kang Shin-jae abruptly declares, “Let’s break apart now,” openly suggesting the dissolution of L&J when Yoon asks about the source of the video evidence.
Her decision to cooperate with Baek Tae-joo appears to have shaken the trio’s shared convictions. For Yoon Ra-young and Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah), who remain unaware of what kind of deal Shin-jae might have made, the announcement lands like a thunderbolt.
Both struggle to accept the sudden decision. Yoon Ra-young, visibly hurt, admits, “I never imagined I would lose you like this.”
The L&J team was founded on a shared pursuit of justice. But as the firm Hae-il takes on the defense of the perpetrators behind Connect-In, the conflict now expands beyond a courtroom battle into a clash of values among the three lawyers.
Shin-jae’s decision is particularly difficult to understand. The lawyer who once risked everything for her cause now declares she will step away from the team. Questions grow over what calculations and compromises may lie behind her choice.
The production team also emphasized that the shift in relationships will be the central focus of the upcoming episode. “Kang Shin-jae makes an irreversible choice with Baek Tae-joo and ends up saying goodbye to Yoon Ra-young and Hwang Hyun-jin,” the producers said. “Please watch to see what ending awaits the three women who have shared a 20-year friendship.” They added that “this is not the end yet,” raising anticipation for what comes next.
