Virtual idol group SKINZ is bringing its music world closer to real fans through an offline showroom and hologram fan signing event.
Bridge Entertainment and entertainment technology company Creative MUT announced on March 9 that a content showroom celebrating the release of SKINZ’s first mini album 'SKINZ IS SKINZ' will be operated at 'TUNE' on the 6th floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul.
Open until March 15, the showroom recreates the album’s universe in an immersive offline environment using large LED media installations and real-time hologram technology supported by Creative MUT’s offline store 'TUNE'.
During the three-day pre-launch period beginning March 9, hologram equipment will screen videos of the members introducing the album. From March 12, exclusive relay dance clips and special message videos prepared for TUNE will also be released to enhance the on-site experience.
On March 14, SKINZ will host an 'offline hologram fan signing event', introduced as the first of its kind by a Korean virtual idol. The event will allow the virtual artists to communicate with fans as if they have appeared in the physical space.
Meanwhile, SKINZ is a seven-member virtual idol group that debuted in April last year. The group will release its first mini album on March 11 featuring the double title tracks 'WHY U MAD' and 'Poison Ivy'.
