Han Ji-min’s eventful blind-date journey leads to unexpected reunions with Park Sung-hoon and Lee Ki-taek.
Episode 3 of JTBC’s The Practical Guide to Love, which aired on March 7, followed the confusing daily life of Lee Ui-young (Han Ji-min) as she stepped into the unpredictable world of blind dates and encountered a series of surprising moments.
Ui-young briefly hid in embarrassment as she recalled drunkenly confessing, “I want to meet a good person.” However, she soon accepted that the moment had pushed her to face the reality of meeting someone new. The unexpected confession became the first step toward her journey into the world of romance.
Her days soon filled with one blind date after another. Meeting different men exposed Ui-young to a variety of personalities, and she realized that finding someone truly compatible was far from easy. Through these repeated encounters, she also began learning the practical rules of dating, including rejection and choice.
An unexpected twist arrived when she encountered her second blind date partner Shin Ji-soo (Lee Ki-taek) again. Confused by inconsistencies in the information she had been given about his name and job, Ui-young soon discovered that Shin had actually attended the date as a stand-in. While revealing the truth about his situation, Shin expressed sincere interest in Ui-young and even gave her theater tickets, heightening the subtle tension between them.
Meanwhile, HOME CEO Song Tae-seop (Park Sung-hoon) attempted to use a business opportunity to reconnect with Ui-young. His proposal initially failed due to internal issues at the hotel, seemingly ruining his plan. Yet toward the end of the episode, the existing contractor became embroiled in a design plagiarism controversy, suddenly positioning Song’s company as the only viable alternative. Ui-young eventually visited Song and encountered him at a campsite, marking a new turning point in their relationship.
Episode 4 of JTBC’s weekend drama The Practical Guide to Love airs today (March 8).
