JTBC’s weekend drama The Practical Guide to Love begins to unveil its story. In the series, Han Ji-min plays Lee Eui-young, who finds herself unexpectedly reunited at work with her former college crush, Kang Do-hyun, portrayed by Shin Jae-ha, and is swept up in soft, lingering emotions.
Lee Eui-young, a senior associate on a hotel purchasing team, has always dreamed of a love that unfolds naturally. She believes relationships should grow without grand turning points, quietly blending into everyday life. For her, reconnecting with Kang Do-hyun, with whom she once shared a subtle connection during their university days, becomes the perfect chance to pursue an organic, “natural meeting” romance.
In newly released stills, their dynamic appears to extend beyond simple workplace camaraderie. Accompanying Eui-young on a site inspection, Do-hyun smiles brightly at her while holding a camera, evoking the mood of a spontaneous “business trip date.” Even among colleagues Jung Hyun-min and Shim Sae-byeok, the pair’s effortless chemistry stands out.
Flashbacks to their college years add further intrigue. Wearing overalls, Eui-young walks alongside Do-hyun as he pushes a bicycle, revealing a youthful charm distinct from their present-day selves. Reuniting after more than a decade, the two are expected to transform even an ordinary commute into something filled with anticipation.
Based on the Naver Webtoon of the same name by author Tari, The Practical Guide to Love premieres on February 28, setting the stage for a pink-tinted romance born from destiny and timing.
