aespa is stepping back into the global spotlight with “Keychain (FROM THE FILM K-POPS!),” a new single tied to the North American theatrical release “K-POPS!” The track, unveiled at 2 p.m. on Feb. 27, marks the group’s first official comeback in five months.
Aside from the special single “SYNK aeXIS LINE,” “Keychain” is aespa’s first new release since September’s sixth mini album “Rich Man.” The timing aligns with the group’s broader international rollout strategy, reinforcing their momentum beyond the traditional album cycle.
The single also continues aespa’s streak of high-profile global collaborations. The quartet previously teamed up with British singer-songwriter RAYE on the “Better Things” remix and American rapper Flo Milli on “Dirty Work.”
For “Keychain,” Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak joins the creative lineup. Known for blending hip-hop, R&B and funk into a polished crossover sound, Anderson .Paak adds rhythmic texture and groove, while aespa layers in its signature sleek pop production. The result positions the track squarely at the intersection of K-pop and U.S. mainstream sensibilities.
With a Hollywood soundtrack credit and a collaborator who has topped Billboard charts and earned multiple Grammy Awards, “Keychain” underscores aespa’s continued push into the North American market.
Meanwhile, aespa will bring the “2026 aespa LIVE TOUR SYNK aeXIS LINE” to Macau on March 7 and 8, extending its global tour run.
