IVE Expands Its Self-Love Narrative as Jang Wonyoung and Leeseo Lead ‘REVIVE+’ Campaign

IVE has reignited its signature narrative of self-love, this time led by Jang Wonyoung and Leeseo.

Starship Entertainment released the Jang Wonyoung and Leeseo versions of ‘THE NARCISSISTIC GURLS CAMPAIGN’ for IVE’s upcoming second full-length album ‘REVIVE+’ on its official social media channels on February 13. The campaign serves as a teaser strategy heightening anticipation for the new release, scheduled for February 23.

Jang Wonyoung appears first, immersing herself in meditation while listening to the so-called “frequency of becoming Jang Wonyoung,” immediately commanding attention. The phrase “Fall deep into my black hole-like charm,” delivered alongside a playful wink, conveys a confident embrace of her own appeal. Reading a book titled ‘I Am Jang Wonyoung (Subtitle 50 Ways to Become Jang Wonyoung),’ she naturally incorporates viral phrases such as “Queen never cry” and “i am lucky Vicky,” reinforcing her self-branded “Lucky Vicky” identity and expanding its universe with wit and charm.

Leeseo follows with a striking shift in tone, styled in a bold red fur hat and glasses. Under the caption “cool girl’s daily self-care routine,” the video captures moments of studying, spending time with members, and resting, presented through a refined visual lens. A scene in which she looks into a mirror and repeats “pretty face, pretty heart, pretty soul” underscores a message of balance between outer appearance and inner self, reframing narcissism as a form of self-care.

Both campaign films feature a digital camera texture, Y2K-inspired typography, and playful, kitsch-driven direction that resonates strongly with MZ-generation aesthetics. By redefining beauty as an attitude rooted in self-appreciation rather than external validation, IVE expands its established narrative. While previous releases centered on the story of the individual self, the upcoming second album broadens that perspective toward a collective identity.

The title track ‘BLACKHOLE’ signals the group’s next chapter, pointing toward wider possibilities. Previously pre-released track ‘BANG BANG’ demonstrated IVE’s strong chart performance, quickly climbing domestic and international rankings upon release.

IVE’s second full-length album ‘REVIVE+’ will be released on February 23 at 6 PM KST across major online music platforms.
