Broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo reveals unexpected moments she witnessed among global economic heavyweights.
The February 11 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star” features Lee Dong-jin, Ahn Hyun-mo, Orbit, and Nucksal in a special titled “Too Much TALK GPT.” The guests, known for both intellect and wit, are set to deliver nonstop conversation throughout the night.
On the show, Ahn shares her experience as host of the APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025, held in Gyeongju last year. She recounts vivid, firsthand stories from the historic gathering that brought together world leaders and top executives from global corporations.
An episode involving NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang particularly draws attention in the studio. When MC Kim Gu-ra asks whether she once joked about “having her life changed” after Huang took her bottled water, Ahn laughs and recalls the moment.
“From the moment Jensen Huang appeared, it was astonishing,” she says. “Watching him speak for more than 40 minutes without a teleprompter was impressive. Seeing the front of a genius is remarkable, but witnessing the back of a genius was just as moving.”
She goes on to explain that during the presentation, Huang casually picked up a bottle of water from the host podium and drank from it, surprising everyone. “So many thoughts crossed my mind in that instant,” she admits. “After he put the bottle down, my first thought was, ‘Where should I place that?’” Her candid confession brings laughter.
Lee Dong-jin then jokingly asks, “So did you throw the bottle away?” Nucksal adds, “If it were me, I would have kept it. Isn’t that holy water?” The conversation reportedly spirals into unpredictable territory, even touching on DNA jokes that connect Mariah Carey to Kim Jong-un.
Ahn also shares an impressive moment involving Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong. She says she gained an unexpected lesson from observing him at the opening ceremony of the APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025.
