Stray Kids have extended their global dominance from the stage to the big screen.
The group’s concert film Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience, capturing the scale and intensity of their largest-ever world tour, has debuted at No. 1 on the global box office, reaffirming the group’s formidable international draw.
According to U.S. media outlet Deadline, the film, released on February 6 local time, grossed a total of $19.1 million during its first weekend across 61 territories worldwide, securing the top spot at the global box office. The achievement is considered exceptional for a concert film release.
The film also delivered a strong performance in North America, earning approximately $5.6 million from 1,724 theaters during its opening weekend. In Mexico, it topped the box office with around $2.1 million, while in Germany it generated roughly $1.6 million, marking the biggest opening ever for a K-pop concert film in the country.
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the film posted combined earnings of about $1.4 million, becoming the highest-grossing K-pop concert film in the region. Additional solid results were recorded across Italy, Spain, Brazil, France, Peru, Chile, and Australia, underscoring Stray Kids’ broad global reach.
Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience documents the group’s world tour held from August 2024 through October 2025, spanning 56 shows across 35 cities worldwide. The film vividly captures the tour’s atmosphere and scale, translating the energy of live performances onto the cinematic screen.
The release is particularly notable for featuring Stray Kids’ historic performance at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, where they became the first fourth-generation K-pop group to headline the venue. Behind-the-scenes footage further enhances the experience, offering fans intimate moments while delivering an immersive concert experience to general audiences.
Following a tour that set multiple firsts and records within K-pop, Stray Kids are set to continue their global momentum in 2026. The group will headline major international festivals, including The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6 and Rock in Rio in Brazil on September 11, further cementing their status as a top-tier global act.
