BTS Rewrites History: Achieves Highest Single-Show Capacity at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

 

Group BTS has once again proved its unrivaled status in the global music market by recording the highest seat occupancy for a single performance in the history of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK.

On the 6th, local concert promoter Live Nation UK officially announced via social media that BTS's fandom, ARMY, achieved the highest single-show capacity ever at the stadium. BTS is scheduled to hold concerts at the venue on July 6 and 7, with approximately 120,000 spectators expected to fill the stadium over the two days.

Including this UK performance, BTS will embark on a massive world tour consisting of 82 shows in 34 cities worldwide, starting at the Goyang Stadium Main Stadium on April 9. All 41 performances in North America and Europe, as well as the three shows in Goyang for which ticket sales have already begun, sold out instantly, demonstrating their explosive ticket power.

Prior to the world tour, BTS will simultaneously release their 5th full-length album, ARIRANG, worldwide at 1 PM on March 20. The following day, March 21, they will hold "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul. This event will be broadcast live to more than 190 countries and regions via Netflix, allowing them to connect with fans globally.

Anticipation for the new album is already reflected in various metrics. As of the 4th, the new album ARIRANG has maintained the No. 1 spot for three consecutive weeks on Spotify's "Countdown Charts Global." This chart tracks pre-save numbers for albums prior to their release, proving the intense interest of global fans waiting for BTS's comeback.

The record-breaking streak of their previous works also continues. The music video for "Boy With Luv," released in 2019, surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube this past January. With this, BTS now holds two music videos with at least 1.9 billion views, following "Dynamite," which has already surpassed 2 billion views. Furthermore, they continue to receive steady love on global charts, with "Yet To Come" receiving Platinum and "Love Maze" receiving Gold certifications for streaming from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
