Park Shin-hye steps deeper into danger as the tension escalates in Undercover Miss Hong.
In episode 7 of the tvN weekend drama, airing on February 7, Hong Geum-bo (played by Park Shin-hye) makes the risky decision to turn herself into bait in order to uncover the truth behind the slush funds connected to Hanmin Securities. What begins as a calculated undercover move quickly spirals into a perilous situation.
Late at night, Hong walks alone through the streets, appearing calm on the surface. In reality, she has deliberately exposed herself after discovering that the illicit funds are hidden in the account of a top-performing member of the Fox Association. As she places herself in harm’s way, an unidentified threat closes in, heightening suspense over who is targeting her and how the danger will unfold.
The situation intensifies when Hong is suddenly confronted by Shin Jung-woo (played by Go Kyung-pyo). Known for her fearless resolve, Hong is visibly shaken, raising questions about what pushed her to such extreme fear. Jung-woo’s unexpected appearance adds another layer of uncertainty, leaving viewers to wonder whether he has arrived as a protector or as a new variable in the unfolding crisis.
As police arrive at the scene, chaos erupts, while the cold tension between Hong and Jung-woo becomes increasingly apparent. Their unresolved past, rooted in the Hanmin Securities accounting scandal from nine years earlier, resurfaces, deepening their conflict and setting the stage for further confrontation.
With Hong’s search for “Yepi” hitting an unexpected obstacle and Jung-woo repeatedly standing in her way, suspense reaches a peak. Episode 7 of Undercover Miss Hong airs at 9:10 p.m. on February 7.
