KBS will present its annual Audience Appreciation Concert, a free performance series created to express gratitude to viewers. The program blends traditional Korean music with classical repertoire and familiar popular songs, offering a wide-ranging concert experience accessible to all generations.
The Audience Appreciation Concert features performances throughout the year by the KBS Traditional Music Orchestra (KBS TMO), orchestra, and symphony. First launched in 2021, the series marks its sixth year in 2026. With high-quality productions and inventive programming, it has grown beyond a one-time event into a recognized branded concert series, steadily building a loyal audience base.
This year, KBS TMO will host six Audience Appreciation Concerts. The season opens with the New Year's Concert on February 12 at KBS Hall, signaling the start of the Year of the Red Horse. The stage will feature collaborative performances by Kim Duk Soo SamulNori, vocalist and musical actor Gil Byeong Min, and cellist Sol Daniel Kim. The concert is expected to deliver a meaningful and symbolic opening to 2026, expressing new beginnings and hope through Korean music.
The program continues with Family Concert 'Spring, Again' on April 16 at KBS Art Hall, Family Concert 'Accompany' on May 14, The Composer’s CUT : GYE Sung-won on August 20, The Composer’s CUT : KIM Sung-kook on October 22, and Classics, Again : LEE Sang-kyu, BAEK Dae-ung on November 19, presenting a diverse and seasonally curated lineup throughout the year.
