Mnet’s Show Me The Money 12 has officially confirmed 73 contestants surviving the fiery “bulgudengi” round, marking the start of the next phase after a fierce clash between newcomers and established names.
In Episode 3, aired on January 29, the final results of the “60-Second Rap Mission” were revealed. The round proved decisive, delivering sharply divided outcomes among several top contenders widely viewed as strong title hopefuls.
Thai representative MILLI earned unanimous approval from the producers with a commanding performance that seamlessly blended English, Thai, and Korean, securing an ALL PASS. HAON, winner of High School Rapper 2, once again demonstrated his proven skill set and comfortably advanced to the next round.
In contrast, well-known rappers including Yunhway, Twlv, and Irohan suffered unexpected eliminations after underwhelming showings, creating one of the episode’s biggest upsets.
Amid the fall of several big names, confident rookies such as Milli Max and Chio Chicano stood out, while veterans including CHABOOM, Fleeky Bang, and BLASTA delivered steady performances, underscoring the increasingly leveled-up competition across the field.
Producers Loco and Jay Park noted that this season brings together “the widest range of styles and the freshest energy in the history of the franchise,” highlighting the show’s expanding musical diversity.
With 73 contestants moving forward, the episode closed by unveiling the franchise’s first-ever “Hell Song Camp” mission. Divided into high-level and low-level tiers, the upcoming one-on-one class battle signals an even harsher survival contest ahead.
Show Me The Money 12 airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. on Mnet and TVING.
