In the January 24 broadcast of episode 3 of tvN’s weekend drama Undercover Miss Hong, Hong Geum-bo (played by Park Shin-hye), who has been gradually adapting to her undercover employment and carrying out her mission, becomes entangled in a troubling situation that leaves her cornered.
That day, Hong Geum-bo discovered a suspicious notebook in the bag of her roommate Go Bok-hee (played by Ha Yoon-kyung). Afraid that the notebook would be revealed as a slush fund ledger of Hanmin Securities, Go Bok-hee panicked and accused Hong Geum-bo of being a thief. After a late-night commotion, the two once again fell into a cold war. In this way, Undercover Miss Hong vividly portrays a thrilling undercover mission set in the 1990s Yeouido financial district, while humorously depicting the special camaraderie that blossoms within it. The drama offers multifaceted entertainment, particularly through Hong Geum-bo’s struggles as a 35-year-old elite financial supervisor who conceals her identity and returns to life as a rookie employee, enduring the harsh realities of corporate life.
