Rookie boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE is continuing its unstoppable rise, achieving a triple crown on music shows just two weeks after debut.
On January 25, WakeOne announced that ALPHA DRIVE ONE took first place with their debut track “FREAK ALARM” on MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” which aired on January 24. This victory follows their previous wins on MBC M’s “Show Champion” and KBS2’s “Music Bank,” marking their third consecutive music show trophy.
With this achievement, ALPHA DRIVE ONE has secured the title of “music show triple crown” solely through their debut album promotions, dominating both cable and terrestrial broadcast music programs. Their string of victories right after debut is being recognized as clear evidence of their status as one of the most promising K-pop super rookies of 2026.
On stage, the members impressed viewers with stable live vocals and a confident performance that belied their rookie status. Upon being announced as the winner, they mentioned their fandom, ALLYZ, saying, “We are grateful to receive our third award. We will do our best to become artists our fans can be proud of,” delivering heartfelt thanks.
Meanwhile, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is also making a strong impact in Japan with their debut album “EUPHORIA.” The album ranked No. 2 on Oricon’s Weekly Streaming Rapid Rise Ranking (January 12–18) and No. 4 on the Billboard Japan Download Albums chart. Achieving both domestic music show dominance and strong global indicators, the group is firmly establishing itself as a leading next-generation act set to define K-pop in 2026.
