The HYBE and Geffen Records joint girl group KATSEYE continues its steady rise on the UK Official Chart and Spotify, further solidifying its presence in the global pop scene.
On January 17, HYBE announced that KATSEYE is sustaining long-term chart performance through the simultaneous success of both new and existing songs.
On the UK Official Chart dated January 16–22, the group showed remarkable staying power. Their new single “Internet Girl” ranked No. 42 on the Official Singles Top 100, marking its second consecutive week on the chart following last week’s No. 24 position. At the same time, their hit track “Gabriela” held No. 99, extending its chart run to a total of 17 weeks. The achievement highlights KATSEYE’s rare ability to keep both new and past releases in active rotation.
Their performance on Spotify remains equally strong. According to the latest Spotify charts dated January 17, “Gabriela” placed No. 23 on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart and No. 70 on the Weekly Top Songs USA chart, maintaining its presence for 30 consecutive weeks. “Internet Girl” also posted solid results, ranking No. 72 globally and No. 80 in the United States.
Most notably, KATSEYE’s Monthly Listeners on Spotify reached 36,686,455 as of January 15. This figure is the highest among girl groups worldwide during the same period. Since surpassing 30 million listeners in August last year, the group has continued an upward trajectory even during inactive promotional periods, underscoring its expanding and loyal global fan base.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE is set to compete at the 68th Grammy Awards in February, where the group has been nominated in two categories: Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, raising expectations for a major milestone in their career.
