‘2026’s first K-pop rookie’ ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) has made a striking debut by lighting up major landmarks across Korea with a massive outdoor advertising campaign.
On January 14, WakeOne announced that large-scale outdoor promotions for ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s debut mini album EUPHORIA are being rolled out simultaneously at key hotspots in Seoul and across the country. The group consists of Rio, Junseo, Arno, Gunwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyun.
The campaign spans major streets in Seoul as well as Busan, Bundang, and Jeju Island, creating a nationwide visual impact. Most notably, the iconic N Seoul Tower displayed the massive message “2026 ALD1 Let’s Go,” symbolizing the group’s official launch and ambitious beginning.
Individual member messages have also captured public attention. Billboards featuring keywords such as “Attention Magnet” for leader Rio, “Icon of Speed” for Junseo, “Syndrome” for Gunwoo, and “Official” for Xinlong highlight each member’s personality and confidence, drawing curiosity from passersby.
This aggressive promotional strategy has translated into strong chart performance. Their debut track “FREAK ALARM” topped the Bugs real-time chart, entered Melon’s HOT100, and achieved No. 1 on Japan’s Rakuten Music, as well as the iTunes K-pop chart, demonstrating remarkable global traction right from debut.
The combination of a large-scale promotional rollout and impressive chart results signals ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s strong potential as a next-generation leader in K-pop, marking a powerful start as the first rookie group of 2026.
Meanwhile, ALPHA DRIVE ONE will officially kick off their broadcast promotions on January 15 with their appearance on Mnet’s M Countdown.
