The images alone are overwhelming. The stills reveal Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung gathered in Vladivostok, each driven by a different objective. Their presence immediately heightens curiosity about the intense narrative that awaits.
“Humint” is set in Vladivostok, a city where secrets and truths alike are swallowed by the cold, icy sea. It tells the story of individuals who clash while pursuing separate missions, creating a tightly wound confrontation that unfolds in a harsh and unforgiving environment.
The released stills introduce NIS agent Jo Gwa-jang (played by Jo In-sung), North Korea’s State Security Department leader Park Geon (played by Park Jung-min), North Korea’s Consul General in Vladivostok Hwang Chi-seong (played by Park Hae-joon), and North Korean restaurant worker Chae Seon-hwa (played by Shin Se-kyung). Their gathering in the frozen city hints at a volatile encounter filled with sharp tension and deep emotional undercurrents.
In addition, new characters such as NIS agent Im Dae-ri (played by Jung Yu-jin) and North Korean consulate employee Geum Tae (played by Lee Shin-gi) appear, further enriching the film’s narrative layers. The press stills highlight a cast that combines reliability with freshness, signaling a gripping and unpredictable storyline.
Already emerging as one of the most anticipated films of the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday season, “Humint” is set to be released on February 11.
