FNC Entertainment’s rookie band AxMxP has revealed the tracklist for its first mini album, signaling a bold creative statement with double title tracks and full-member lyric participation.
On January 7, FNC Entertainment released the tracklist for AxMxP’s debut mini album Amplify My Way through the group’s official social media channels. The image presents the tracks arranged along a path drawn on a map, visually suggesting the musical journey the band is set to embark on.
The most striking aspect of the tracklist is the group’s adoption of a double title track strategy, an uncommon move for a rookie act. AxMxP places two contrasting songs, “PASS” and “Thereafter,” at the forefront, alongside a total of seven tracks including “Too Much” and “Punch-Drunk,” giving the mini album a notably dense and ambitious composition.
The members’ hands-on involvement further underscores the band’s artistic direction. Member Ha Yujun participated in writing the lyrics for all seven tracks, including both title songs, taking a leading role in shaping the group’s narrative. Kim Shin also drew attention by fully handling the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of the track “Your Usual Self,” highlighting AxMxP’s potential as a self-producing band.
Returning with their first mini album just four months after debut, AxMxP is poised to demonstrate how far they can expand their musical spectrum while solidifying their identity. Anticipation is building over what kind of presence the band will establish through this release.
AxMxP’s first mini album Amplify My Way is scheduled for release on January 21 at 6 p.m. KST via major music streaming platforms.
