Stray Kids have been invited once again to a major French charity event hosted by the country’s first lady, marking their return after two years and reaffirming their unrivaled standing in the local K-pop landscape.
According to JYP Entertainment on January 8, Stray Kids will take the stage on January 22 (local time) at Paris La Défense Arena for Le Gala des Pièces jaunes (“Yellow Coins” Charity Gala).
The “Yellow Coins” Charity Gala is organized by the French Hospital Foundation, chaired by Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron. Stray Kids join a high-profile lineup that includes G-Dragon, Christina Aguilera, and A$AP Rocky, underscoring their influence as a global top-tier act.
This renewed invitation highlights the solid presence Stray Kids have built in France over the past four years. Their journey includes headlining Lollapalooza Paris in 2023, making their first appearance at the charity gala in 2024, and drawing 120,000 fans at Stade de France last year. These milestones signal their evolution beyond a K-pop group into a recognized box-office force within France’s mainstream cultural scene.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are set to use the France appearance as the starting point for an expansive global push in 2026. Backed by a proven long-term run on Billboard’s main charts, the group will headline major festivals including the Governors Ball in the United States in June and Rock in Rio in Brazil in September.
