“2025 APAN Star Awards” Set for December 29 K-Drama’s Leading Figures Gather for a Grand Celebration

The APAN Star Awards, an integrated drama awards ceremony encompassing all genres, is set to open a spectacular celebration alongside the leading figures of K-drama who defined the year.

According to the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Seoul Business Agency on December 29, the 2025 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS) will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at Hall 1 of the Art Hall, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.

Launched in 2012, the APAN Star Awards has carried on its tradition for approximately 11 years, expanding exchanges with K-drama fans around the world.

This year’s ceremony, hosted by actor Kim Seung-woo and broadcaster Park Sun-young, will present awards in a total of 19 categories, including Best Drama and Best Actor and Actress, offering a multifaceted review of K-drama’s achievements over the past year.

With renowned actors such as Son Hyun-joo, Song Hye-kyo, Kim Soo-hyun, Song Joong-ki, Lee Byung-hun, Hyun Bin, Lee Junho, and most recently Kim Tae-ri having received the Grand Prize in previous years, considerable attention is focused on the new recipient who will be honored with the top award this year.

The trajectory of the awards ceremony is expected not only to spotlight the capabilities of those who excelled across platforms and genres, but also to serve as an opportunity to newly highlight the evolving stature of the K-content industry year after year.

Meanwhile, the 2025 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS) will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on tvN and TVING.
