From “Wicked” to “The Phantom of the Opera”… S&CO Unveils Its 2026 Lineup Packed With Blockbuster Musicals

Musical production company S&Co has announced its 2026 stage lineup, spanning highly anticipated global premieres and legendary classics, raising expectations among theatergoers.

On December 24, S&Co confirmed and revealed the major musicals it will present throughout 2026. The lineup draws attention for its balance of Korean premieres of recent Broadway hits long awaited by local audiences and revivals of timeless, beloved staples.

The year will open with successful productions carrying over the momentum of 2025. The international tour of Wicked, currently running at Busan Dream Theatre, will conclude its Busan engagement in January before heading to Daegu’s Keimyung Art Center in February for its final performances in Korea. Meanwhile, the Korean premiere of Life of Pi, now enjoying a strong run in Seoul, will wrap up its Seoul performances in early March and continue on to Busan Dream Theatre, extending the awe of its visually striking stagecraft.

The second half of the year will gain further momentum with powerful Korean premieres. Hell's Kitchen, a Tony Award-winning production inspired by the music and life of pop icon Alicia Keys, will open its Korean run at GS Arts Center in July. It will be followed by Disney’s global phenomenon Frozen, which is set to open in August at Charlotte Theatre in Seoul and is expected to stand out as one of the most anticipated productions of 2026.

Proven box-office favorites are also set to return. Dear Evan Hansen, which successfully marked its Asian premiere earlier this year, will revisit audiences in August at Chungmu Art Center’s Grand Theater, once again delivering comfort and resonance to contemporary viewers. The year will conclude in December with the return of the eternal classic The Phantom of the Opera, presented in a Korean-language production at Blue Square, bringing the curtain down on 2026 in spectacular fashion.

Having previously introduced major titles such as Cats, The Lion King, and Aladdin to Korean audiences, S&Co plans to welcome theatergoers next year with a carefully curated lineup that combines cutting-edge stage mechanics with high artistic quality.
