Director Baek Seojin’s SF drama “Rewind” will make its debut through the “Special Screening Hall” of ZERO PLUS+, a platform specializing in short and mid-length films.
“Rewind” is an SF drama that delicately explores the consequences of choosing to turn back time and the desires of human nature. Since 2009, Director Baek Seojin has built directorial experience across broadcasting, advertising, and OTT projects, and this work — which she wrote and directed herself — stands out for its sensuous rhythm design and tightly structured suspense.
The new release is being regarded as a work that encapsulates the director’s expanded worldbuilding and directorial experimentation.
In particular, Director Baek Seojin has solidified her position as the most active filmmaker on the ZERO PLUS+ platform by releasing a total of three works consecutively: “Golden Cross Season 1,” released earlier this year; “Golden Cross Season 2,” which has been airing since November; and now “Rewind.”
A ZERO PLUS official stated, “Rewind is a meaningful work that embodies both the platform’s technological experimentation and artistic ambition,” adding, “Together with Director Baek Seojin, we will continue to create new film consumption experiences.”
